CODE OF CONDUCT

FrightFest aims to provide a safe, respectful, inclusive, and fun environment for everyone to enjoy films and events. This code of conduct applies to everyone attending the festival, plus participants on our social media channels. Guests, staff, volunteers, vendors, and the press will be held to the same standards. FrightFest reserves the right to remove or ban anyone from attending the festival or from our social media channels who do not adhere to the code.

WE DO NOT TOLERATE BAD BEHAVIOUR OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING:

Intimidation or threats, hurtful language, physical assault of any type, inappropriate physical contact, unwanted sexual attention, bullying or stalking, unwanted photography and unwanted video recording.

PARTICULARLY IN CONNECTION TO:

Race or ethnicity, gender identity or presentation, sex or sexual orientation, age and religion.

WHAT TO DO:

If you experience or witness bad behaviour, don't hesitate to contact the nearest staff member. We will address the situation. A festival manager will be brought in ASAP when a complaint is received. They will collect the information, address the problem, and take appropriate action.

If anyone wants to file a formal complaint, please send it to frightfest@mac.com, where trained staff will investigate it. All verbal and email complaints will receive a response within 24 hours during the festival. The privacy of all parties will be maintained during an investigation, and the person making the complaint will be kept informed and notified when the investigation is completed.

If you are asked to stop any bad behaviour. YOU SHOULD STOP IMMEDIATELY. Remember, as mentioned above, FrightFest reserves the right of admission. If the behaviour continues, you WILL be asked to leave, and your ticket monies will not be refunded.
