ABOUT FRIGHTFEST
FrightFest was conceived by Paul McEvoy, Ian Rattray and Alan Jones, staging its first event in 2000 at the Prince Charles Cinema in central London. Its August Bank Holiday weekend date has remained a fixture ever since. Greg Day, their long-serving PR man, joined the company as a co-director in 2006.
OUR NEXT EVENT
Our next event is FrightFest London, a five-day multi-cinema 70+ film extravaganza held over the UK’s late summer bank holiday weekend. The 2024 dates are 22nd to 26th August. Films for this event will be revealed on the 11th, and ticket sales will begin at noon on the 13th of July. Ticket prices are still to be finalised.
OUR NEW HOME
After many happy years at Cineworld Leicester Square, we are moving 150 yards across the Square to the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square. The home of premieres, the cinema hosts the best-equipped screens in the UK, and they are ours for five days over our traditional late summer bank holiday weekend.
